FAQs for Bookers
Everything you need to know before booking Mark Preston to speak at your event
1. What types of events does Mark speak at?
Mark speaks at founder-focused events including conferences, summits, business growth events, accelerator programmes, private founder retreats, industry expos, and virtual gatherings. If your audience is made up of founders, co-founders, or early-stage business leaders, Mark’s talks are a great fit.
2. Does Mark customise his talks for our audience?
Yes. Every talk is tailored to your event’s theme, audience challenges, and desired outcomes. You’ll have a pre-event planning call to make sure the content hits the mark and connects with your audience.
3. What topics does Mark cover?
Mark’s talks focus on founder-led digital growth - cutting through the noise, identifying what truly drives traction, and showing how to scale without wasting time, money, or momentum. His keynote topics are built around the same real-world principles explored in his book Customer Growth Unlocked - 101 Founder Growth Stories to Help You Scale Smarter, giving your audience actionable insights grounded in proven founder experiences. You can select from his core keynote themes or request a custom session tailored specifically to your event.
4. How far in advance should we book?
The earlier the better, especially for international events or dates during busy conference seasons (May, June, September, and October). That said, if you have a short-notice opportunity, it’s always worth enquiring - Mark will accommodate where possible.
5. What are Mark’s speaking fees?
Mark is 100% transparent about his speaking fees and terms, which are clearly outlined on the Speaking Fees page. Rates are fixed to reflect the value and impact he delivers, with all quotes based on the published fee ranges for each format and location.
For founder-aligned events that are a strong fit for his audience, Mark may consider value-in-kind options to accommodate a restricted speaker budget which are clearly outlined on his speaking fees page.
6. Does Mark deliver virtual talks?
Absolutely. Mark has a fully equipped home studio with professional-grade video, lighting, and audio, ensuring a virtual experience that feels just as engaging as being in the room.
7. Can Mark run workshops as well as keynotes?

8. What are Mark’s AV requirements for in-person talks?
You’ll find a full list on the Tech Rider & AV Requirements page. In short: wireless headset/lapel mic, presentation clicker, confidence monitor, and a well-lit stage area.
9. Can we record Mark’s talk?
Yes - provided it’s agreed in advance. Organisers often share the recording with attendees or use short clips for promotion. Where relevant, Mark may request a copy for his own promotional use.
