Everything you need to know before booking Mark Preston to speak at your event

1. What types of events does Mark speak at?

i speak at business-focused events including corporate conferences, SME events, franchise network conferences, business events and conferences for established companies, summits, business growth events, accelerator programmes, private founder retreats, industry expos, and virtual gatherings. If your audience is made up of business leaders, groups, or organisations, My talks are a great fit.

2. Does Mark customise his talks for our audience?

Yes. Every talk I deliver is tailored to your event’s theme, audience challenges, and desired outcomes. You’ll have a pre-event planning call to make sure the content hits the mark and connects with your audience. After all, I am the guy known for connecting those dots.

3. What topics does Mark cover?

My talks focus on digital growth the dot connecting way - cutting through the noise, identifying what truly drives traction, and showing how to scale without wasting time, money, or momentum. My talk topics are built around the same real-world principles explored in my book Customer Growth Unlocked - 101 Founder Growth Stories to Help You Scale Smarter, giving your audience actionable insights grounded in proven founder experiences. You can select from my core talk themes or request a custom session tailored specifically to your event.

4. How far in advance should we book?

The earlier the better, especially for international events or dates during busy conference seasons (May, June, September, and October). That said, if you have a short-notice opportunity, it’s always worth enquiring - I will accommodate where possible.

5. What are Mark’s speaking fees?

I always try to work within your speaker budget where possible as there may be other things you can provide, such as professional photos and video footage, your VIP business list, referral to other event organisers to make up any difference.

6. Does Mark deliver virtual talks?

Absolutely. I have a fully equipped home studio with professional-grade video, lighting, and audio, ensuring a virtual experience that feels just as engaging as being in the room.

7. Can Mark run workshops as well as deliver talks?

Yes. In addition to my talks, I am able to delivers interactive a workshop, smaller breakout sessions, and private group Q&A formats. These work well as a follow-up to one of my talks for deeper insight into your audiences business(es).

8. What are Mark’s AV requirements for in-person talks?

You’ll find a full list on the Tech Rider & AV Requirements page. In short: wireless headset/lapel mic, presentation clicker, confidence monitor, and a well-lit stage area.

9. Can we record Mark’s talk?

Yes - provided it’s agreed in advance. Organisers often share the recording with attendees or use short clips for promotion. Where relevant, I may request a copy for my own promotional use.
