One of the most challenging and rewarding journeys I have ever led was scaling the digital ecosystem of the UK’s largest group of independent opticians, Hakim Group. When I joined, they had sixty five locations and were operating at a low eight figure level. By the time I stepped back, they had grown to more than five hundred locations with a modest nine figure turnover. Our digital ecosystem was driving more than fifty thousand quality patient appointments every single month. All organically. All through dot connecting rather than big spending.
